I've watched a bunch of movies today.
I started with Notes On A Scandal which is a damn good movie. Judi Dench is exceptional in it and Cate Blanchett nails her part as well. Loaded cast of Brits.
I watched the Score after that, a perfectly fine movie with Brando, De Niro and Ed Norton. Its directed by Frank Oz, which doesn't really seem to fit well. It's definitely not his strong suit as a director.
I watched Foreigh Correspondent after that, a pretty cool Hitchcock set right as WWII was breaking out. Pretty wild historical context.
I watched Drive-Away Dolls (AKA Drive-Away Dykes), I dug it. It's definitely a little bit clunky but it doesn't overstay its welcome and has some real laughs in it. Pedro Pascal and Matt Damon both have good small parts.

The fall guy was a fun movie. I thought the com part of the romcom action part a bit lacking. It had some funny moments but some of the jokes were pretty flat and could have been better. The action/stunt parts were great and the plot moved along well enough to fill up the two hours.

Watched Pop tart movie We liked it Enjoyed it, too. Amy Schumer was great. Who knew Battle Creek, MI was once the center of the cereal world? I used to deliver up there a lot. And the fact the Kelloggs/Post war got started because the Post founder was a patient in a sanitarium where Kelloggs was serving his patients the first bran flakes so Post got out and started making his own? Weird, wild, stuff. Anything But You was about what I expected. I think it will go down as a decent rom-com for the Sweeney generation.

I watched I'm Not There after I got home. Pretty cool movie, I dug Cate Blanchett and Richard Geres performances the most. Christian Bale is pretty solid too.

Few weeks ago watched The Driver about a getaway car driver. One of those movies not really appreciated when it came out but now has got respect and is cited by guys like Tarantino as being influential.
Last night watched Drive again. Was just intending to watch the first scene only but I wound up keeping it on till the end. Back when Ryan Gosling still did darker movies.
I guess a re-watch of Baby Driver should be next.

We watched The Fifth Element and Riceboy was enthralled like I was when I first seent it. Well not exactly on the level of enthrallment I was when I seent it in theaters in 1997 but he fell in love with Leeloo and needed to nerd out and write a short story afterwards so I’d say it did the trick. It’s pretty all over the place but never a dull moment and the cast is fantastic with a great villainous Gary Oldman and a blonde haired charming Bruce Willis in a weird orange tank top and the flamboyantly over the top and hilarious Chris Tucker and then of course the annoyingly sexy as hell Milla Jovovich and the on screen chemistry burns up the screen better than John McLain bloody kissing Holly Gennero.

I watched Cry-Baby last night. Johnny Depp is a talented comedic actor, I wish he'd been able to do more of that kind of stuff.

This one is called The Beat Beneath My Feet about a guitar playin kid and his mum (British) and their neighbor who is a washed up depressed ass former rockstar whom the world thinks he’s dead (played by the late Luke Perry) but he’s been lying low cuz of some sad shit of course but he’s still got his Les Paul and he is teaching the kid but mum is mad right now cuz she don’t want kid to rock out cuz the dad is a doofus but it’s got some imaginative stuff but I think this is the depressed teenage version of School of Rock in England

This movie is on FreebieTV and it’s got ads every 15 mins or so but if you interact with the Roku remote the ad is only 30 seconds or you can hit the 3 minute add without interacting but nobody’s got time for that!

Went to the theater for civil war
Damn that was pretty crazy. Did not make me feel good. Pretty well done overall. It's pretty realistic what a war would be like in the US. Not just civil but any war in our country would be crazy.
Pretty good war movie but yeah
Theater had electric leather reclining seats with kickout footrest and large arm rests. That was cool

Those are the kind of seats my local theater has, Goodtimes. It’s the only way to go. No going back now.
I watched the Iron Claw last night. Really enjoyed it. Zac Efron does a great job wrasslin’.

Watched The Nice Guys again. The most Shane Blackiest of all Shane Black movies. I found it's better if you don't try to make to much sense of the plot and just enjoy it for what it is.
