rereading David Eddings The Belgariad and The Malloreon series.
i really enjoyed the various characters, the world he created and the plotline.
not super complex but interesting enough to keep me engrossed.

I read The Rifle by Gary Paulsen to my kids a couple weeks ago. It got really graphic towards the end and I was only half paying attention to what I was reading and looked over and my kids were horrified. I felt a little bad about that.

Need book recommendations! Fiction, nonfiction, no matter. Nothing too heavy to read on the beach with a drink in my hand...

if you ever played world of warcraft or like video games in general you might like Ready One Player by Ernest Cline
if you like action, anti-heros i def recommend the Jack Reacher series.. not to heavy and lots of emotion moments as the quiet man reacts. not a fan of the Tom Cruise reacher movies as a Reacher movie, its a solid Tom Cruise movie

Ferd, get Lamb by Christopher Moore. It's a comedic telling of Jesus childhood years through the eyes of his best friend Biff. It's fucking hilarious. I'm on my third book by the same guy. He's great.

Nice, you'll enjoy it. I've also read Le Sacre Bleu and I'm currently about 2/3 of the way through Fluke.
