Been a minute since I got any Monkish. Always a treat. I never had a trade guy out there, just rely on local beer nerds doing the trading for it and selling off their scraps

I haven't seen a six pack since I've been out here. A case is unheard of. They sell big bottles and 3 packs. Does everybody switch to wine after a few? What the hell...

It was great. Umbri makes three kinds that I know of, a Belgian, a red, and the IPA is best of the three. It is modestly hopped (not like West Coast style) and full bodied. The red is very mild and smooth, and the Belgian has the typical yeasty old world thing going on.
