Grabbed a 4 pack of Founder's Breakfast Stout (no date on them Frodo, but my beer store guy assured me they're fresh), a 6 pack of a German Marzen...forget which brand, and a bomber of Alpine Duet for this weekend.

Oh yeah, DPB and I met up a couple nights ago for a chill sesh and we each had a pint of Ommegang Nirvana IPA and Shipyard Pumpkinhead. Both were solid.

You got: The Apprentice by Societe Brewing Company A consummate professional, you’re always well dressed and well composed, no matter the occasion. And like the bitter taste of The Apprentice, your unmistakable presence tends to linger even after you’ve left a room. Your style is distinguished and sophisticated, but effortless at the same time. Like the piney, citrus flavor of The Apprentice, you’re an exceptional refresher from the norm.

"When we drink The Apprentice we always seek the opinion of a master. We hooked up with Chef Adam Duyle, a beer and food pairing guru, for a beer dinner in San Francisco. He paired The Apprentice with a Confit Rabbit Leg & Loin, with Potato Gnocchi, Green Garlic, and Rucola. We definitely learned a thing or two."
Sounds a little snooty but I'm sure I could substitute in non-confit chicken legs and fries and be just fine.

Caveman UM sent me 2 Burial Skillets over the weekend. They were soooooooooo good. Drank the Harpoon UFO pumpkin beer over the weekend, also Alpine Duet, Dinkel Acker Marzen (meh) and a couple others that are escaping me right now.

I like the hop knife. It starts like a marzen and finishes like an IPA.

Is a Not Your Fathers Root Beer at 1:45 really considered day drinking?
