Wrong Dirty, the drummer is finally getting it, sammy was the fuckin soul of that band for a while, theyre.gettin back to their old style with the new intensity that allen has brought since his turn back there, hes become polished and still polishing, im fuckin stoked where these lads are at

Wrong Dirty, the drummer is finally getting it, sammy was the fuckin soul of that band for a while, theyre.gettin back to their old style with the new intensity that allen has brought since his turn back there, hes become polished and still polishing, im fuckin stoked where these lads are at I think I understand dpb. Allen is more skilled technically but Sammy held the groove deep in the pocket, and Allen is finally finding that. I was a huge fan of the Mars Volta and especially when Jon Theodore was bashing the skins. Live they were remarkable with him and he was the soul (and heartbeat) of the band. When you lose a drummer like him (or fire him) you must replace him with someone who is "better" and Thomas Pridgen's speed and memory was far superior, but the magic wasn't as powerful. Dave Elitch was next and he brought a funkier vibe but again the magic was lost. Now that band is finished and Queens of the Stone Age has Jon Theodore and he makes them sound great. I think I had a point to this.

you def did but its kind of vice versa sammy better technicalky and hold down the soul allen was (in the beginig ) just agressive and fast, and more of an e-drum type of guy (not sayin thats all he played) and i guess fit where biscoz where headin at the time
Peep like 00-04 biscoz v like 07-09 maybe even more like 08-10 but yeah almost all just untz beatz n kicks from allen , now its startin(past couplebyears) to get back untz beatz, jazzier rhythms etc...its becoming a well rounded machine not just tje straight forward in yo face
