So UM cancelled their run this past weekend. all the shows were in the south east and based on what i've read and saw the hurricane wasn't hitting where they were playing until the day after their show(s) but out of safety concerns they thought it best to cancel/reschedule anyways. Goose also played close by and did not cancel their shows. This has led people to believe that UM used the hurricane as an excuse to cancel due to low ticket sales. I honestly have no idea if there any truth to that because they have been doing well in some areas but in other areas they have seen a decline in ticket sales which has probably been felt throughout the entire music scene minus a handful of bands, off course. They currently only have 4 shows left on the year. 2 in Chicago for their UMbowl shows and a 2 night New Years run in ATL.

I love Smell the Mitten, i haven't seen that song in a long ass time! Dont even know the next UM show for me and it's already been since August  I'm hoping they come through the midwest one more time before their summer tour, maybe Milwaukee April run. If they do announce anything it will be this week, probably a summer tour announcement in the next couple weeks too |
