Saving money is the same as making money, especially for publicly traded companies with shareholders to keep happy

American companies filing in their overseas HQ region is actually a very American thing to do. Outsourcing jobs to overseas nations is very UnAmerican and I feel any company that does this with more than 20% of their uS based workforce should pay penalties for removing more revenue from our economy. The revenue I speak of is the federally taxable wages but more importantly the lost earnings from all businesses that would have received it from the "disposable" income that is being spent in countries other than our own. Does that make sense?

I also feel that every non violent drug offender serving prison time should have their sentences reduced and/or immediate pardon and released and that they have structured assistance programs to get back into the workforce and back into the real world. They can then pay into social security to help the elderly and disabled as well as spend their hard earned on anything with a sku to scan, including legal drugs.
I am with the silent volcano on ending prisons for profit because it is horrible to think empty prison cells are considered lost revenues to the greedy prison industrial complex.
