Other countries have gun ownership levels about the same as the US; they just don't shoot each other with them as often as Americans do. There's something fucked up about America(ns) that is more the cause than just possessing a gun. Add in the ease of being able to purchase a gun and no wonder there's so many gun related deaths.

Obama made his remarks before he even knew what exactly happened. He is just using a tragedy to push his agenda. Also, ever notice how he only makes these types of comments when mass shooting happen? These types of shootings only account for a half of a percentage of the total gun homicides that occur annually in this country. Over half of the gun homicides are due to gang violence, many of which in occur in his home city of Chicago which has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Odd he never addresses that situation. He uses the situation to his advantage to push his agenda. Not unlike the Cheney administration did following 9/11 i.e the Patriot Act. a war against a nation with little or nothing to do with Al-Queda and an executive branch that is nearly beyond control. Not unlike Kevin McCarthy who's admitted that the motives of the Benghazi hearings are about causing political damage to Hillary. Way to use the the tragedy of the death of four Americans to advance a political agenda, Kevin. (Is "untrustable" even a word?) Not that I'm surprised. It's what politicians do. Thinking only one side does it while the other doesn't use tragedy to push their agenda is pretty naive. www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/09/30/kevin-mccarthys-comments-about-benghazi-should-raise-a-red-flag-for-republicans/

I know what it is:We Hate Each Other... In most other countries there is no racial diversity, and people have been programmed to accept their own countries Oligarchy system and so are content to stay home and not go out and look for trouble.

I think its fluoride, lead, antidepressants, food grown in dead soil and mass media. Plus a few other things. Maybe lack of quality psychedelics being served to the general public.

The media must stop full page covers of psycho faces as stupid people think it is cool and want to be famous too. How about a hood over their face. When people run on the field at sporting events they don't get on television. the wife and I were discussing this yesterday and we each had the same thought, so I hear ya dirtyrice. I don't know that anything can be done about it because the press is free to report what they please and as they please with few exceptions. nevertheless, you make a very good point: there is a reason that sporting event tv coverage won't show the streaker/field runner and the reason is that they don't want to give the attention seeker the attention s/he seeks. I hate that we give the mass shooters exactly the attention they seek. but, people want to know why a mass shooter would do such a thing, and that is why they get the individualized coverage they get. I hate it; I just don't know what to do about it.
