Domestic brews all taste like Budweiser to me (except for the dark and red beers) so if I want a beer from the market I'll usually by some German import I've never seen in the US, but at least tastes slightly better than the domestics. The other day I saw something new, 'Harboe Premium Gold' out of Denmark. Thought I'd give it a shot and since I was only having one the 5.9% caught my eye. Has a malty taste compared to the usual lagers. Got me thinking I might be drinking malt liquor, which I can't remember the taste of since my experience probably doesn't go deeper than a few Mickey's Big Mouths. If this is malt liquor, does this make me slightly more gangsta now? Should I spill some on my nice laminated floors for my fallen homies that exist only in my imagination?

In legal terms, maybe, but most American malt liquor is between 6-7%, and is brewed with cheap adjuncts in the fashion of strong American lagers.

youre iron chef right? maybe? on the question Yup. Doesn't really matter. I'll probably keep drinking it till I get sick of it or find something better.

Beast ice is fucking awful and I'm totally cool with most shitty beers. Got to try the west coast shitty beers for the first time in Seattle. Ranier is pretty good but Olympia kinda sucks.

I'm still calling nans on it being 24oz. Not that I would want a 24oz torpedo. Couldn't drink it quick enough.
