Just don't do anything for me. I was at the acoustic set at 8 and have heard enough on Phish Radio and IMO it just doesn't cut the mustard. I think their music is just meant to be electric.

People who thrive and survive in the acoustic medium can generally sing pretty well. That being said, it's cool to hear a very occasional acoustic set.

most dr00gbands are not that good unless ur spun. So stripping their music down and exposing how much they actually suck is never gonna come off well.

I wouldn't mind having a setlist like this at one of their more special events.
Split Open and Melt, Sparkle > Free, The Squirming Coil, Waste[1], Talk[1], Train Song[1], Strange Design[1], Hello My Baby, Mike's Song -> Simple -> Contact > Weekapaug Groove [1] Acoustic mini-stage.

I dig the 94 phishgrass stuff but not like 1970 campfire dead though.

The dead Acoustic sets were dope ....
The Trey solo acoustic set at Rothbury wasn't that bad. I had a good time.

I saw Trey at the Palace in 2010? when he was doing his acoustic tour. It was pretty cool to hear Limb by Limb acoustic.

I'm with ya Bigswifty. I enjoyed the fest 8 donut set (though I missed out on the donuts), but, for me, it was a lot like seeing TAB--it's not that it's not good, just that I used to something a bit better from the faces I see on stage. kinda thought Trey made it worse with the whole, simon says sit down, but now simon says stand if you want thing. made the crowd look and feel awkward and uncomfortable.
