This company will pay your luggage fees if you turn your bag into a rolling advertisement Want to check your bag, but too cheap to shell out the cash? One company, Orion will help you offset the cost by turning your luggage into a mobile advertisement. Well, it’s not your luggage actually. Instead of your beat-up roller, Orion sends you two shiny hard cases — a 21-inch for carry-on and 29-inch for check-in — wrapped in advertising for companies like Geico, KFC, and Verizon to pack everything into and drag wherever you go, creating “over 1 billion impressions within a one week” according to the website. In return, Orion will cover all round-trip baggage fees and even give you the bags for free. Plus, the bags come with all the newest tech bells and whistles, including a charging station, GPS location, digital scale, and a luggage tampering alert system. To pay for the bags when you’re actually in the airport, members use a $50 gift card. When it gets down to $0, Orion will recharge it. If you’re bag goes over the weight limit, Orion may cover up to seven pounds, but negotiations are ongoing with airlines. roadwarriorvoices.com/2015/09/27/this-company-will-pay-your-luggage-fees-if-you-turn-your-bag-into-a-rolling-advertisement/your thoughts?

People actually pay to wear clothing with giant Nike schwooshes and the like so I'm sure most would have no problem with actually being paid to be a walking advertisement for someone's brand.

When I worked for VZ I wouldn't use the duffle bag they gave me because I didn't want a-holes in the airport complaining about their bill to me. My first assumption upon seeing with one of these bags would be that the person worked for that company.

Someone will come up with some vinyl easy on/easy off sticker to cover up the logo that can be peeled off once you reach baggage check-in.

I think about this a lot when stores make their own tshirts or bike jerseys.
You want me to pay $90 for a bike jersey with your name all over it? No thanks. The only one I wear was from a bike store that sponsored my team in a race, and gave the jersey to us. At least put it at deep discount if I'm out shilling for your store.

i don't get why cyclists wear those obnoxious jerseys with those logos. They're not sponsored.

All my luggage I've gotten from work free and it all has the Lufthansa logo on it, sometimes people come to me asking if I work for them. I always say no though because those people will usually want something from me.
