I'm more under the impression that we need saved from the technology.

It may seem that way because of the terminator movies and what not but if the population of the planet keeps exploding like it has been, we are going to need technological answers to mitigate it. Or fema camps

Unless. The ignorant render themselves sterile in time.

As Chief Brody once famously said, "you're going to need a bigger boat."

Are they still a thing?
I have a Covert Ops poster on my wall which apparently they were the opening band for that night in May 2009.

That's the wonderful thing about the subjective nature for music.

Speaking of "are they still a thing?" the Spin Doctors played Arequipa recently on a double bill with, wait for it..... Brett Michaels, singer from Poison.
I was going to make an Andrea like post on the day of the show to inform all of you who live hundreds, if not thousands of miles from the venue saying we should have a meetup between shows, but it slipped my mind and I never got around to it. Sorry. Next time.
Will give Sprout a listen to today.

Or fema camps MARS! You get in on an early investment there? Maybe on some housing development or condo project; cause you're really pushing the Red Planet lately. They gonna have swimming pools and weed, 'cause no oceans might be an issue for me, and, well, you know, weed.

I wish they posted more music. A quick search of sprout and the Orange, maybe add Saginaw and there is a small collection. I think they Facebook and stuff too. They covered animals for Halloween, I think there may be a link somewhere. Im gonna bug the sound guy to get a few more recent shows posted somewhere.

Forgot to mention that if you come down for a show you're all welcome to crash on the sidewalk. I know the best spots.

I'm basing this on nothing but personal feeling and have no crystal ball in which to gaze, but I think if humans are to have a future on Earth it will be with far less people and less technology as opposed to even more people and technology.
Not like I'm getting the memos about all the latest shit that's being done with technology, but it seems to be more consumer product oriented than anything else. Maybe in the future we'll all have some really dialed in, kick ass virtual reality doohickey so that we all think we're at the most kick ass music festival eating crepes without any drops of sweat added when instead we're really all in FEMA camps eating dirt.

i concur,we do have far to many people.
this sounds wonderful cept several billion need to die for this to happen. (pics of the Denver airport murals flash into mind. THE MESSAGE OF THE GEORGIA GUIDESTONES
1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely – improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion – faith – tradition – and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth – beauty – love – seeking harmony with the infinite.
10.Be not a cancer on the earth – Leave room for nature – Leave room for nature.

I think if anything technology has now provided us with enough information to where if we just look it is clear nature has it all taken care of. We will either learn to exist within her rules or she will erase us. I love her!
