I got a book on eBay (Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum) and the seller sent me the wrong book (Dan Slott's Arkham Asylum:From Hell). He said to keep that one and he's still sending the other.
I've been diving back in hard.

Read the Mockingbird solo series and that was really good.
Reading through House Of M now. Pretty cool/easy to do with Marvel Unlimited.

Good book hope more to co me
End of book 3 author writes a great take on the confederate flag and then shares his father's eulogy at end of book 4 , also very well written
CBD just brought me in Gideon Falls (image) guess it's sort of horror-y , not usually my bag , however he rarely steers me wrong and it's oktoboer so well giver a gander

Picked up a bunch of stuff today with a gift card my dad gave me for my birthday.
A League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, V For Vendetta, The Long Halloween, Batman: Year One, Batman: Europa, The Omega Men,DC 52 Vol 4 and the first volume of Tom Kings Batman run. Lots of people don't love his Batman stuff but it sounds interesting to me.
Really excited to get them. Ive been reading a bunch at work so I don't feel like Im staring at a computer at day.

I've been reading a ton of stuff at work.
I read through Mark Waid's 2013-2014? run of Daredevil when he moved to San Fran. It's so good.
Also read Batman: The Black Mirror which was super awesome, reading Batman:Europa now.

Finished Europa.
I've read The Long Halloween and Dark Victory now. Good stuff. Thinking of getting Haunted Knight to finish of the Jeph Loeb/Tim Sale trilogy.
Have Superman: For Tomorrow and a bunch of Martian Manhunter TPBs coming. I friggin love comics.

Watched first episode of watchmen
Good
But I'm confused
CBD told me it's a continuation , which kind of lessened the confusion. But yeah
Still kind of confused
7.5/10

It's imperative that you are familiar with the original subject matter to fully get the show. I've seen 3 episodes and it's still a bit confusing but it uses more than one time line which all tie in to the original

I mean it's been awhile since ive read watchmen and i know the story n all...just seems confusing lol
CBD said they designed it so that if you've read comic, or seen movie that you'll be able to get the jist , so all encompassing for newer folks that may be familiar with one or the other

It's definitely a continuation of the comic. The movie changed the ending and the ending (The Giant Squid being dropped on New York) is a vital part of the picture.
It's been really interesting so far. They're opening a lot of threads but they're answering questions too.

His objections to the show are based on how badly his other work has been adapted.
This adaptation has way more teeth than the movie.
