Today was national independent bookstore day. Kids 4 and 5 and I went to Perry, NY to check out this used bookstore today. I grabbed these for a good price. Looking forward to the dark Knight returns and the thunderbolts. Accidentally bought like 30 books total and spent $71... The kids have plenty to read for a while though.  |

I love Shakespeare. His work is incalculable. His influence is boundless. The Watchmen by Alan Moore exceeds this. It will be studied for generations in a similar way. The cultural breadth is staggering. My only criticism is that he didn't invent any words. That I know of.

Yeah, that book is really amazing. I've got the absolute edition of that and I'm thinking of bringing it into work. The cover is just the Doomsday Clock. Doctor Manhattan is such an interesting character, this god with an ego who thinks he's above human struggles now. It's really fascinating stuff.
