I am glad the kids are about to have 2 weeks off school. I do not have to wake up and drive anywhere. Other than that Im already over christmas and ready for new year.

i feel christmas is coming to fast..
im trying to savior the warm fuzzy that comes out in me. dont have to work at it.
i have such fond memories of Christmas that its easy to time travel emotively using movies, cookies, wrapping, shopping to a real warm fuzzy happy place

I am making chestnuts to bring to Christmas gathering with my dad's side of the family. Then driving two and a half hours so see them.

I have off tomorrow, does that count? I needed to get below 100 hours of paid time off. This gets me to 99. Sucks though because I'm going to work late all next week and I won't get ot.

A Christmas Story live is on and I checked it out for a few minutes. grease fire. For some reason Huhge Ackman was prancing through city streets dressed as a nutcracker and singing show tunes. I don't remember that from the movie?

we are pretty much done shopping.. my wife is picking up some essential oils for my mom today and that should finish it.
we made our annual pilgrimage to Christmas lane in Kenosha. its a cul de sac that had its name changed to christmas lane.. it expands every year so its up to 4 block of pretty much every house and then some displays around it. fun times.
watched first 2 die hards and first 3 home alones yesterday.
Sat we watched Surviving Christmas, love that one, harold and Kumar christmas, pretty solid, and rewatched office christmas party as we had a guest over who had never seen it.
got some Christmas cookies made but still have a long way to go.. have to finish up one night this week.
