I bailed on it too. I cant get into soap style serials because they never end. They just write in some more crap scenarios and it goes on forever with no plot resolution... just breadcrumbing hints of a good story until a lackluster and unsatisfying finale when the network realizes viewership is down and will not be coming back. My wife's into these Korean shows that are like soap operas, but only run for one, 16 episode season. Lot of different genres, but the 16 ep. single season format is pretty consistent. Think it's a good idea in that you can extend and explore more than a movie would allow, but the format gives writers (pretty sure it's the same director/writer for all 16) an endpoint so there's no pressure from networks to keep a succesful show going just to cash in and script rot never really gets a chance to set in.

Killing an animal for food is much easier for me to stomach. We just ate the last of my backstrap from last year last night. It was delicious. |
