I also think the standard should be different per venue type. It's annoying when in theatres or strict concert venues people talk the whole time. But in either arcana or bar settings it doesn't seem to make as much of an impact.

I can see that. It is typically the bar or club that exhibits these symptoms. I just don't remember going to the same venues back when and experiencing all the talking. It is relatively new. I find it to be incredibly disrespectful to the artist. And fellow patrons who don't want to hear someone drone on about all the k they did last weekend. Or whatever.
I like to go to a show for the music. I can understand some talking, but come on. You all paid to come and pay over price for drinks and talk over the band?
My andrea rant is over. Or is it?

guys...i ran into Jess at the UM show last night. old school baser whose bf was gonna stab wally at phish alpine. I'm sure all the OGs remember her. was great to see her and a total blast from the past that made both of us feel old.

I don't remember her handle. she was the rabbit with the pancake on its head. used to post here all the time. I believe she was from North dakota then moved to Alaska and is now living in milwookie. was a total trip to see her..especially on top of the cosmic trip I was already going through.

I'm not sure. she said she has a 2 year old at home. I would assume he is daddy but not a lot of mention of knife guy when we were catching up.
