it was interesting. it is kind of hipsterish. but he's really passionate and some of it was psych sounding, which i liked. but a lot of it was melancholy as fuck... kind of in a rough patch and i needed something more upbeat. i'd give it another chance if they were at a fest. i may get free tickets to wilco on friday, which isn't exactly upbeat either... i think i need to go to rock show soon.

I'm rolling solo to Hillberry. I got a subpoena for November 1st to be a witness in court about when my neighbor shot at the Repo man, so that pretty much fucks me on doing anything for Halloween. Panic is having a minescule fall tour too. thinking of grabbing tickets for UM NYE in Denver not my first choice but its easier to do than WSP in Atlanta. November 1st is a Sunday. Y'all have court on Sundays in TX? |

the new mastersounds are playing at a bar in my town in a couple of weeks but i'm going to miss it because i'll be on vacation. lettuce is playing in indy the wednesday before halloween, but i don't really go to weeknight shows anymore. those are like the only two things i'm even interested in seeing this fall around here.
