I had only vaguely heard about this before, but today I finally read this thread and the posted articles (and then some)... holy crap, what an all-around shitshow... yet such great entertainment for US, haha.

Any new news on this great story? Or any new bad movie ideas based on the dumpster Fyre? How about Zombies of Pablo Escobar attack the festival goers? That doesn't make sense but that hasn't stopped Hollywood before.

The 25 year old CEO of the fest... theres a warning... paid well more than 1 million dollars promoting the fest instead of actually organizing it.
I just cant believe peoole get paid to post on social media.
And what a waste, with a 1 million promotional budget you could do so much.
I would bet he spent more on instagram posts than anything at the festival site.
And honestly Ja Rule probably truely doesnt think its his fault because he did absolutly no work on this project
