-A few guys on my vball team in college branded themselves. It was awful. They bent wire coat hangers into the shape of their uniform numbers, heated them up with lighters and burned the shit out of themselves. So fucking stupid. It was during the season too...so having to practice everyday prevented the wounds from healing...they would be sitting in class with pus leaking through their shirts and shit. I'm sure at least a couple of them have permanent scars. Morons in one of our pledge classes did this with a hatchet heated up in a campfire on a camping trip. Giant, gross lumps of scarred up tissue on their biceps. a dude I used to skate with branded this lizard design on his leg and it actually turned out pretty good. He did a bunch if research and made a little mini documentary thing about the process as a college art project.
