None here. I'm so indecisive. But if I were to I'm thinking.
A tradition rose. Maybe over my heart. Kind of cheesy, I know...
Some kind of design depicting The Wheel. Also potentially on my left peck...
And as I said the last time we talked about this, a phoenix. I picture it on my upper back spanning both shoulder blades. Sounds painful... I'm not there yet, though.
I also like the idea of a realistic owl, but owl tats seem kind of hip these days. I know that shouldn't matter, but...

it took me years and years of wanting before i finally pulled the trigger.
you definitely need to feel it---- forever
whats key is what does if for you.. derive the tattoo worth internally and shy away from comparisons to others, less thats really important to you i suppose
get if for yourself, not others

I feel like a lot of folks get tats for other folks to see. Generally speaking.

I have none partly because i can't commit to anything and partly because i dont like them. I just think at some point you will regret it.
Like if you wouldnt want your kids/parents/coworkers to see them whats the point? If your ashamed of it before you get it, think twice

If your ashamed of it before you get it, think twice i feel any tattoo is all about you.. i can understand not wanting to disrupt a family or work dynamic. put that tattoo out of sight or refrain.. its what you feel is most important. i have a DMT 3d molecule on my calf.. rather not have to explain to my mother what that is but she knows enough not to ask. i try not to make decisions based on fear, like fear ten years from now i may not like it. i myself dont anticipate any regrets but i spend lots of time plotting and planning and dont pull the trigger till im absolutely fine with it. and who really cares what you look like when you get old.. kudos for making it that long

I see your point and agree Still agree with my opinion as well for sure. one has to do whats best for the reality they want to create. if you have any concerns, prob not a good idea to get one. concern could turn into a regret real fast

I never had the desire either... although once The Yankees win The World Series again I might get their logo on my arm as part of my mid-life crisis... Only thing that hasn't changed since I was a kid is my love for The Bronx Bombers so we'll see.

If your ashamed of it before you get it, think twice -There's a difference between being ashamed of it and know your superiors at work would think less of you for having one. I'm not ashamed, but I don't want to limit myself professionally because of what they think.

Neal Brennan (Chappelle Show) had a great one liner in his current Netflix special, which is great BTW.
"Getting a neck tattoo is people's way of saying 'yeah, minimum wage is fine for me.'"

Important peice of advise that has not been mentioned..
Shop around for a good tattoo artist!!
You may even have to travel!!
And you should have to wait till they have openings!!! Most good artists do not have an open schedule
Especially if your siblings are pushing you towards it just dont go with whoever they recommend
I always laugh at the boardwalk tattoo parlor preying on the whims of drunk vacationers
Every artist is unique and you should find one whose work speaks to you.. And doesnt suck.. And is consistent regardless of whether you are a friend or walk in
Also if you can find real life examples of their work to see how it fades n shit iver time rather than their portfolio of freshly done ink
Also inquire on the type of ink they use
Yada yada yada Tl/dr Deciding the artist is equally important to deciding your design
