I dabbled in meditation for a while last year and retreated completely to my ego, its weird. I think it is meaningful and am waiting to start exploring all of that again but it was like I had to lay off for a bit, mostly because I knew I couldnt be committed to what was being revealed to me as far as how and what I should be doing with myself, or what I was compelled to change? Idk, its like you cant always have your cake and eat it too and that definitely is true when attempting to develop certain principles or lifestyle shifts or explore any spirituality in earnest. Its like I need to prepare to actually let certain things go before I can really start opening myself up to aligning more with everything. Its been full on ego for most of 2021, like a flipped switch from 2020, so weird.

Hah^ Yeah I have def strayed from practice...but I like what he has to say about the 'ineffable' and the 'space behind the stars'. He was a great elicitor of thought..He could explain himself very well, and I know exactly what he is talking about. Getting in touch with That again, touching it for a while, is a worthy goal. There is nothing like the feeling of centered-ness that it brings..........ironically.

I don't discredit the psychedelic experience, but I also don't over value it anymore in my life's journey. Becomes cosmic navel gazing at a certain point. I think I just relate more with a Buddhist ascetic aesthetic. Zen through simplicity, through work. Chop wood, carry water When the soul is ready for it Freedumb and I didnt always agree on some things, but I wish I could talk about this more^^ Nonlocal consciousness, the Self realized, &etc |

HAha...that could probably be a book, seriously. I appreciate you asking.
I would like to explain it properly though, because that's what I feel I'm supposed to do. I have been explaining what is/was going on to Tom of course the whole time and it has been some seriously long conversations because Im trying to pull him along as well. He's pretty up on ideas about the ego and has studied some various texts of Hindu, Sikism, Vedas...all them shits.
At any rate, I do like writing my thoughts of course-......my computer doesnt type 't's sometimes, so know that about when you may be reading later...lol.
I will think about where is most expedient to start and do some over time. I'm still not back at work for a while and I've never explained to others that dont know me personally what I've gone through. A friend brought me a journal and encouraged me to start writing some of it down, but I can type it on here instead.
