The 8 year old used his own money to buy a disc on Saturday. We played in the yard for a little bit so he could try it out. He's dying for me to take him to an actual course.

Last weekend of the Disc Golf Pro Tour, great things happened this year even with the shortened season JoMez pro continues too lead the way on coverage and content the Big Jerm vs Uli micd up practice rounds are the best thing ever We got CBS sports coverage a few times and this event will be on ESPN 2 next month, KJ ace got a lot of play recently and even some older big shots made their rounds around the net this year, popularity is soaring  |

currently i use a silk base layer, tops and bottoms, then over that a layer of merino wool. then outer layers depending on temp, wind ect. I have 175 weight merino and some heavier. I went with 17.5 micron width on fibers as the lower number is softer. Im comfortable wearing the merino without the silk but the silk is much softer on the skin. I have woolx and also Icebreaker brands merino wool and LL bean silks. I also have bamboo under layer which i really love but its getting pretty worn. i have it and really am happy with it.
merino wool can be pretty pricey if you go for heavy weight and the softest route but its warm. went disking last weekend. fresh cold air is nice!! |

played a few holes with a friend right after sunset. First time I played more at night with led lights taped to the disk. pretty cool watching the disks fly!!
think we may do this again later in the week.
