Take 'er easy out there, SV. ``````````` Been having fun w/my 2nd graders this year....We traced sight words in shaving cream the other day, played word bingo, and a word card game...you'd have thought I gave 'em a gold brick...lol. I have a huge beach ball with words all over it and they throw it to each other and where their hand lands they have to read the word and make a rhyme, or a sentence, etc....The little boy tries to peg the girl with the beach ball sometimes...just being silly of course, and he misses anyway...haha. |

Congrats on the 5th kid Ferd! -This was funny. It's not this. Just more developments on my "emo-ness." I went to my primary care doc and she prescribed me something. I was initially against it, but I decided I'm willing to try it out. If what I'm suffering from really is a chemical imbalance, then the med could do me a lot of good. Today was dose 7, so it's still too early to tell if it will work or not...I'm probably already dependent though...which is...interesting. Just a lot of uncharted territory. My self confidence has been shaken since I've been forced to look inward and admit that a lot of the problems I was blaming on external sources are actually personal defects. I find myself more open to the idea that I have flaws, but it's still a startling realization to have at 34. I want to be the best version of myself though, for me and for my family...but heading down that road is scary AF. |
