Got a couple audits out of the way late last week and early this week. Killed it. Just got done taking a 2 day re- certification course. Killed it.
Id like to think I can just chill rest of week and see Hookah on Friday night but Im sure some other bullshit will be next for me handle. It never ends. Car needs fixed, dental bills, yadda yadda, farkin yadda.

I am really ready for the weekend, not sure why, its een a chill week, maybe too chill?
I was going to stay outside overnight onight for panic NYE tix but between balancing work and the hassel of trying not to have to pee for 10-12 hours just has me saying fuck it, prolly do something diffeent for nye, oh well.
they do set aside tix or the box office, should be a decent group there tonight. It would probably be fun, but I dont even have someone to go with to save my place if I need to go somewhere for a sec. Maybe Ill change my mind last minute...

My girl's son got caught with a vape pen at school today. He got three days in school detention, which would seem to indicate that it was for tobacco. Is there any chance a school these days wouldn't be sophisticated enough to not know that it might be the pots? She already had a conference scheduled with the school this afternoon so she is going to ask for the pen and try to bring it home so we can see what it is. I told her not to ask them specifics about it. May have dodged a pretty big bullet.

Yikes. How old is he? I'm guessing they may not know the difference...hopefully they treat them all the same with the intention of not getting kids in more trouble than is necessary? Maybe that's overly optimistic.

I got a ticket my senior year of high school for smoking a cig on school property. It was at the end of the day, I was in the parking lot waiting for my friend to give me a ride home.
It was $90...sucked because that was a lot of money to me back then.

Right right. I'm sure tonight is going to be awkward at the Hokie Household. Do you act as a father figure to this kid, or are you just mom's boyfriend? Not criticizing either way...
My neighbor has been married to his wife for like 7-8 years now. She has 2 kids from a previous relationship...their relationship with my neighbor is not great. He decided a long time ago that he wasn't going to try to be their dad or their friend...so they sort of just tolerate each other. I feel a little bad for the kids (especially the boy) because their real father is a deadbeat...and it's clear sometimes that they lack a positive male role model in their lives.

LOL. That's a good point. If I got a ticket for that much now, it wouldn't be awesome. It was a lot more to me then than it is now, but it's not like I wipe with $20s.
