I learned that my hubby has never heard Shel Silverstein's Great American Smoke Off. I will remedy that another time, it's such a classic.

Ive seen a bald eagle perched on top of a saguaro cactus 🌵 and then it sprung open its wings and took an amazing flight that was awe inspiring. I've also seen some homicides by hawks that swoop in and grab neighborhood cats with their talons and fly them up about 40-50 feet and release them to fall into the street and then they swoop down again and carry that meal away while the neighborhood kids cry. That is also rather awe inspiring but sad for the kids. Does the cat really land on it's feet? they always land on their feet

I see bald eagles about once a month during the summer, with winter coming, will see them once a week. I see red tailed hawks and kestrels everyday.
...I like it.

There's red tailed hawks like every ten feet on the NYS Thruway. It's pretty cool.

I saw a dead crow the other day while walking the dog and I was astounded at how big that fucking thing was. It seemed like it was about half the size of the dog.

Doctors found something in my grandpa's esophagus yesterday. more than likely cancer but they'll know more today. My Grandpa is a very large man and had probably lost 60 lbs in maybe 2 months. it's not looking good
