I lost all my grandparents in my early 20's. Like one right after another.

A month or so ago this dude who is probably around my parents age said he had to go to his grandmothers funeral. I reacted with "You still have a grandparent?" A little rude but she musta been old.
I am ready for this looong weekend!

My wife’s maternal grandmother lived to be in her mid 90s and was an ornery old broad. God help us all if my mother-in-law lives that long.

Can someone come pick me up and drive me to my parents and then pick me up in the early morning and drive me to Virginia? Ever since I ate lunch I have been about to fall asleep. I lost my check card so I can't pay you.

Doctors found something in my grandpa's esophagus yesterday. more than likely cancer but they'll know more today. My Grandpa is a very large man and had probably lost 60 lbs in maybe 2 months. it's not looking good vibes. Cancer can go fuck right off!

Huge day here in Perú. Trump sized HUGE.
For the first time since 1982 Perú may qualify for the World Cup. The last game in the qualifying round shut down the country. No taxis. No combis/busses/privately owned public transportation. The normally busy streets were empty. Everyone will stop what they're doing to watch the game.
Big game for Argentina as well, who without a win, may be eliminated tonight. Have a few Argentinian friends and some family living there so loyalties will be questioned.
Exciting night for anyone young enough not to have been around in '82. I'm not the biggest fan, but it'll be impossible not to get caught up in it all.

That's pretty exciting. I could cheer for Peru in the next WC.
Speaking of exciting...I got back in a tree stand for about an hour and twenty minutes last night. Not much going on besides the same old white faced woodchuck until like 20 minutes to sunset. Suddenly there's two young bucks in the field making their way towards me. At the same time, 3 does pull out of the woods behind me and are feeding their way towards my stand. Then, a scrawny little button buck (I could count all his ribs...maybe sick) charged the does...The younger does freaked out but the oldest stood her ground and chased the button buck away. He ended up standing directly under my tree stand. I could have shot him about 4 times, but passed...yearling buck that was way too skinny anyway...So by the time all these deer split, it's 1 minute until legal sunset. I gather my stuff and climb down the ladder to the ground...turn around...and wouldn't you know, three does show up on the trail 30 yards in front of me. I freeze...and the lead doe is suspicious...she keeps looking at me and walking closer. She ended up about 11' from me before she spooked...I guess my camo is effective. It was so difficult to stand perfectly still for several minutes...I think my leg shaking is what finally spooked her.
