Perhaps, but I look at it as buying beasters over primo and then saying it's worth it because even though more expensive, the beasters are tasty. Granted, I've never had JW Blue and would have no issues drinking it if offered. I'm just not paying that price for it when there's single malt.

They're blends of single malts on the higher end.
The only one you're definitely better of getting a low end glenlivet or glenfidditch for about the same price is black label.
JW was never my go to, but nice to change it up.

JW blue is better than a vast multitude of single malts

If I were working with that kind of budget for a bottle I'd get something like this over blue. But once again...if it's free (to you) then hell yeah! Woo~!!!

So today was our first snow it still snowing looks like we're going to get about 6 inches. Should have been a good day but the wife's car got repoed and just got picked up was surprised the guy came out here in the snow. its been a rough year for both of us I mean my wife is not like me she's got to college degrees in all kinds of experience but last 6 months of sucked for her too. In April when she was still a in April when she was still a PPC ed teacher in Dallas isd PP CD stands for preschool for children with learning disabilities mental health issues all kinds of disabilities so you know she was like tube feeding children and had kids that and had kids that were violent and they're all under 6 years old and one day she had to restrain one of these kids to stop the child from hitting other children and someone who didn't like her took the picture and send it to CPS and she was accused of child abuse and there was an investigation and she was found guilty and fired and lost her Texas Teaching Certification right before she got up here. It's all political bullshit. So they came to get the car today, which was originally $16,500, she paid faithfully for 3 years and owed $17,000 on it still. You do the math on that.
She got a job already at Office Depot as customer service supervisor. She ha basically saved the store and she'll poll be the ass manager in a few months but she is still heart broken.
There's nothing I can do. Just need the cash for my weed license and I can get a job but you know, time.
Hoping to go see wookiefoot in denver in a couple weeks. I need to have a little fun some time soon. I just want to stick my nose in some Wednesday and inhale, for the kids...

Haven't had the pleasure if diving into scotch in that price range, but I've had the the opportunity to drink Flor de Caña from the late 70's that was stashed during the Nicaraguan revolution, with a former revolutionary/Sandinista govt. figure who lived down the beach from me. Flor de Caña has the same equivalence that US Steel, IBM, GM, etc., has/had in the states. Had this a few months ago at a wedding. Damn tasty. www.flordecana.com/en/product/centenario-25/

Massive doses of paychedelics are really good at helping to let go. Its like hitting your reset button. More times than I can count people have told me deems are an instant anti depressant. One good friend who is usually really proud of his harsh "manly" image came back using words like emotion and love. He will still say it was the most positive experience ever. He said he was more satisfied with his existance than ever before. And this is somebody I have known for 35 years. And he never mentions emotions or feelings. If you wanna do ceremony...lemme know. Part of me has been waiting my entire life and probably much longer to be asked this!

Wednesday is in the eye of the beholder. Ha, Ive noticed this Wednesday and Sunday are typically a concurrent day of the week for me, and while I have a science degree Ive never done any research...

Sorry to hear about your and your wife's difficult time, sleepyguerrilla. Your wife is a saint for dealing with children most couldn't handle.
Like everything else, this will pass. Chin up, dude. Take advantage of Wally's Wednesday Wookout offer. For those kids who lost a caring teacher due to bullshit.
