I'm sure ppl in sales know how it works. That's why accountants and other overhead is utterly replaceable. Every successful business utilizes an accountant. A professional accountant on staff is invaluable. I'm in sales tho so what do I know. |

I could care less what someone does. I have friends who moved to cali or rado to trim and attempt to grow...who cares? It's when you work these low level jobs and somehow think everything that you is better than everything other people do (Even though you're just a harvester) and you talk down on others for their decisions to move out west to try and better themselves. Yeah, for every single time someone hits back at him for what he does, he has hit several folks knocking what it is they do. For the record, nothing you me or anyone else does for a living amounts to shit, its a pointless bicker, you either like and appreciate what you put into your temporary existence or not, it has nothing to do with other's approval. It's a little early for everyone here to start sucking each other's dicks, but all Peru has to do is beat New Zealand to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 35 years. Had we beat, instead of tied, Colombia last night we wouldn't have to play NZ, but it should be an easy game since NZ doesn't play often, don't have professional players, and doesn't regularly play teams like Brazil and Argentina which could prepare them for upper level competition. Of course if Perú loses to NZ the people will be super pissed at the players who would likely have to leave the country. Because I know how to say, "Let's go Peru!"  Sounds like the livin' is pretty easy. "Vamos Perú," and "Arriba Perú" is all I've heard down here the last few days. Those two phrases and a good tan is all you'd need to convince people you're Peruano. I have an affiliate in Lima that says Peru has the best food in South America. Columbia has the most beautiful women. Brazil has the party. And he said something I could not understand about Venezuela but it didn't sound good. |

I just did 4 miles. Woo! *collapses* I got in 33 on the bike this morning, mid-week miles are the best! I road maybe 7 or 8 kilometers tonight but I wasn't measuring unless the iPhone is keeping track of that and I don't know it, but I can tell you I listened to the new Killers album Wonderful Wonderful and it is quite wonderful and I really enjoyed my bike ride tonight. I also gave up a major addiction two days ago at Ladyrice respectful request and I feel very uplifted to get it out of my life, one day at a time. It's The News. She asked I stop watching it. I agreed and I feel better already. |

Interesting that this conversation developed...I saw that comment from venk this morning, but chose to stay out of it. It is possible for people to grow and change...in SV's case, to stop posting towards others in an asshole sort of way, but it may be way harder if people don't give him a chance on that. I think SV gets defensive about some shit he says...which yes, might be questionable..lol...and that might lead to a-hole-ish comments...but SV's basically a good guy trying to figure some stuff out in his life. That is all. I feel like if you're trying to figure stuff out you don't need to be an asshole to everyone else and what they do with their lives. the douchebag comes in here on the regular and insults others (whether provoked or not) and tries to tell everyone how much better he is than us because he deals drugs and doesn't work a 9-5. This guy has been doing the same shit for a few (if not more) years now and it's only gotten worse. If he wants to figure some stuff out, then more power to him but don't insult everyone else because they're not doing what you're doing.     you have somehow typed a variation of that same paragraph for years even before our exodus from the Daveo site. My stepfather had a massive stroke last night and the doctors are saying he is never coming home, have asked the family to gather at the hospital to say goodbye. He liked cheap beer and cigars but was unable to enjoy either for the last several years due to health issues, so if you partake in either tonight then have one for Larry. so sorry for you and your family. I'm gonna smoke a stogie for Larry. |
