Just Black Friday put a higher end cold plunge barrel/chiller on two year layaway.
My credit is gooooood, two years no interest. Sign me the fugg up.
I don’t really have much space in my apartment, but I’ll make it work.

I don’t really have much space in my apartment, but I’ll make it work. My wife was hitting at getting me one. She knows I like to plung in cold water at like waterfalls and rivers. I told her I like the idea but question that I would acymtually put it into practice at a home setting. The reality is I could start a practice using my tub. If I commit to a practice then yeah. I'd get a dedicated spot but I don't think I'd be into it at home.

This one says it can go from 36 degrees to 104 in 4 hours, but I doubt I’ll use it for warm. I’ve been going to a place in town where you can have an hour in a room with a cold plunge tub and an infrared sauna. The cold plunge is definitely more beneficial for my body, but I don’t like that it’s a tub, laying down doesn’t come naturally in such a stressful environment, so I only get it up to my mid chest sitting upright. Barrel will be better.

I've hopped in an ice cold river after sitting in a hot spring a few times. It's a shocker. Personally I'm not a fan of shivering. I've thought about doing a cold plunge type routine a few times. Shiver just thinking about it. I guess it is supposed to be one of the best ways to give yourself some healthy dopamine. Makes sense. Dopamine is basically anticipation and when you are that cold you definitely anticipate warming up.
