Check out K.G. and L.W. They are two of my favorites. They're written using these medieval sounding scales. Or sort of Arabic or something. They also rock appropriately. *And some funky ass time signatures.

Love this band
New record rules. No better way to follow up your thrash metal record from 6 months ago than with a shiny new synthy electronic dance discotheque album. It’s pretty insane how they keep reinventing their sound and putting out so much material

I waited until I had the vinyl to listen to the new album. I was a little underwhelmed. The second side started to grow on me, but overall it isn't my thing.
