Will be at one of the NC shows for sure (can’t believe there are 3). Biggest act I want to see and haven’t before. I was thinking about this yesterday... many artists are avoiding NC but not David. He's like an ambassador of art |

Oh that. Yeah I mean a few did previously, but that law has since been repealed dawg. I haven’t noticed anyone I care about or pay attention to really skipping N.C. lately. There’s only like 4 artists listed in that link you posted. |

A lot of his solo work is pretty damn good imo. If you haven't listened to the album Look Into the Eyeball I would highly recommend it. There's no doubt in my mind he will playing with a full band. Someone also told me he said in an interview thst this tour would feature a lot of Talking Heads songs. I also saw a post on Facebook where he compared this upcoming tour to his stop making sense tour. i do like most of his solo work, but that was with a band, not him yelling over DJ's... but thats just like my opinion man i do have my doubts he will play with a full band... he is always trying to be hip, and DJ sets certainly are... plus all them EDM fests he is playing also saw that write up in Rolling Stone... why wouldn't he hype his tour and say its his biggest production since Stop Making Sense.. Marketing and Interview jargon 101 Start Making Sense is a great time, cheap, and tour like crazy.... seen em twice since Oct... so there is that for your Talking Heads fix... i am satisfied |

I'm guessing if I wait for day presses for shake knees I'll end up spending about the same for a standard Byrne ticket with a handful of other bands and I already have a parking spot literally a few blocks from the fest soooo...

Byrne doesn't need to hype anything up, the man can live off the success he has had over his career. I just think he is genuinely excited and feel this tour will have similarities to the stop Making Sense tour. I also am fairly positive his live act will feature a full band. Byrne is no stranger to electronic music, he has been recording with producers for a very long time now but he is also a musician himself, i'm sure he's going to want to play a little guitar on his tour as well as have a band that can showcase their talent as well. Byrne has always been someone who has love for other musicians and what they can do, I can't imagine a tour with just him and a couple DJ's

Both times I saw him he played a bunch of Talking Heads songs and had a full band.
One time was in Prospect Park in BK at the bandshell. My friend lives right around the corner and is the biggest Talking Heads/David Byrne fan I know. He knew where to post up for free outside the gate so the sound was good and you had a sight line. We posted up 2 hours before the show, had Thai food delivered to us there, drank wine and smoked joints while watching the show. It was an amazing day.
