100% agree.
They really nailed the psychological horror aspect. So much going on.

Preacher kicks ass. The second season was pretty good but not as focused as the first, I do like where they're going with it though.
Lot's of interesting comic stuff coming out. Y: The Last Man is going to be on FX soon and being written by Brian K Vaughn. So cool.

Legion is amazing, such a mind fuck, the first episode is like a crazy acid trip. Season 2 starts next month...with that and Westorld starting, April is going to be a good month for TV. Also, Jessica Jones season 2 this month, the wife and I are excited for that
I got 3 more episodes of the Punisher, holy fuck it's good!

Interesting take on the social politics of the Marvel movies and superhero movies in general: www.vox.com/culture/2018/2/26/17029572/black-panther-marvel-politicsMy favorite line: The Incredibles remains the best superhero movie, but it’s constantly about two adaptation choices away from becoming a straightforward rendition of Atlas Shrugged — for kids!Animated Ayn Rand for kids. What a concept.

I liked the 1st Spiderman too.. The first couple of Xmen. Logan. The Captain America's. Iron Man 1 and 3.
Less and less the newer movies. Dr Strange was pretty good, but was just a CGI orgasm at it's core..
The netflix shows were the big ones. Daredevil kept me interested in what Marvel/Disney puts out

I'm not big on comics or superhero movies. I'll check out a few if it's convenient, but I haven't seen anywhere near all the MCU or other movies, so I'm a n00b. Still kinda interested in the medium's take on society, and for that, I'll check out the link you posted. Thanks.

At this point it looks like superhero movies are gonna become like Westerns.. the all powerful popular genre that grow to tell all kinds of stories within it..

CGI orgasm without any foreplay or anything else that's supposed to make the whole act interesting. Still, it was fun to watch. Effects wise it had me thinking about the whole world building, Paris scene in 'Inception' and how that movie had an interesting story (though a completely unrealistic take on how dreams actually are - it wasn't strange enough on the dream levels).

Took a film class where the professor suggested that Westerns morphed into Sci-Fi and went into outer space. You could probably add Star Wars, and a whole bunch of others, to that subgenre as well.
