The franchise is SO messy with continuity. Days of Futures Past sort of "fixes" it but then you have then you have all the Mystique/Charles stuff that's not present from the original trilogy of X-films. |

The problem with all these early X-Men movies is they all feel like they came out in 2000 like the first one no matter what year they actually came out. X2? 2000. X-Men Final Stand? also 2000.
