 Heres my test chain. Right to left/order of input Tone Bender MK III (JHS Firefly) Fuzz Face modified (Smiletone Emerald Fuzz) Tone Bender MK II (Dongeomac) Smiletone Blood Orange Compressor Smiletone Ruby Overdrive Klon KTR Moog MF Drive with expression pedal Pigtronix Rototron (analog Leslie Simulator) MXR Carbon Copy (analog delay) Big Muff (not pictured) The Moog Drive is sick. I can't say enough about their Minifooger line because each one has an expression out for hands free operation. On the Drive, the exp pedal controls the cutoff frequency which makes a dirty wah-wah sound that resembles a synthesizer. |

If you're in the market, this is an unbeatable value... reverb.com/item/7853189-smiletone-emerald-fuzz Builder is local to me in VA, and his stuff is top notch, he is just not well known. No one I know of makes a Fuzz Face variant with that many options: Sag for voltage control (aka the spitty dying battery sound) Fine tune, boost switch for single coil pickups, etc. I had to buy a second one of these because my friend wouldn't give mine back! |

Also... this could easily get out of hand.
I'm going with the micro terror because it's all that I really need for now. I plan on buying an amp, caninet, cord package. I know said get something bigger than the 8", but it fits my budget and I'll upgrade to a 12" down the road.

The op amp Muff came into my local airport last night but they shipped it south to Suffolk by accident... Today was human duo rehearsal and the yellow Tone Bender ripped it, but no Muff was used. I got some really cool sounds by using the Leslie simulator and sweeping the Moog Drive filter cutoff with the foot pedal so it sounds swishy sweet and swirly.
