Unfortunately democrats/liberals have no real unified agenda and about as much infighting as repubs. Plus, a lot of pseudo action and complacency when it comes to REAL action.
It would be nice if an actual policy based party, as I see he democrats, would start to really focus on responsible and budget based policy. You know, so they dont look like dummies when local govts go bankrupt and failed policies are never up for restructuring, just sell sell sell even if it doesnt work.

I think a lot of these dudes have creepy thoughts at a young and they feel bad and want to pray it away so they become priests... and the creepy thoughts prevail. Obviously this shit had been going on for centuries.. it didn't "just start." And how in God's name is some dude going to advise me on how best to be a husband and raise my kids when he is forbidden from being a husband and having kids? It's completely absurd and ridiculous... I like being spiritual, not religious. Ive learned there's a big difference. I’d agree with this. “I have impure thoughts. I’ll become a priest so I can’t act on them.” But, the church’s stance on marriage has little to do with being close to god. It’s about property rights and provisions for the widow when the priest dies. They didn’t get rich by giving money away. |

I forgot to mention that Baby May started walking recently!!!
She will only walk if she's wearing her shoes though. There's been a lot of Forrest Gump quotes flying around the ferd household because of it.

It doesn't matter if it's through church, teaching or Disney World.... perverts often try to put themselves in position where they have access to children. I don't blame the church because a clergyman touches boys, I blame the church if they know about it and don't do anything about it. It needs to become a police matter at that point.
Ferd, I bet you could join a different local parish and they would be understanding of why.

Also, so far there are only allegations against the priest that married Legs and I and baptized our second kid...
There were never even any rumors that I know of.
There is likely going to be a cash grab, because the Buffalo Diocese is FINALLY doing something about all this and has set up a fund to pay victims from...so it's possible that everybody and their brother is going to claim they were assaulted to cash in...it will be impossible to tell who is telling the truth at this point.
