Cardinals are cool, a cardinal and two blue jays have been hanging around my place lately, with the weather the ways it's been I went out and bought some feed to scatter around. Blue Jays are kinda dicks. They will claim a feeder or bath as their own and chase off every other bird that comes near, while making a racket the whole time. My favorites are green jay's gnomesayin? *seth rogan laugh* How bout Brown Headed Cowbirds? Parasitical nesters that will engage in "mafia behavior" if one egg is removed. Accepting a cowbird egg can result in 56% loss of predated species.. Interestingly, yellow warblers bury cowbird eggs in the nest where the baby perishes, and I guess cuz it looks like natural causes the cowbirds let it go

When for a bike ride out the country yesterday, all the meadowlarks were in full throat.
Also got chased by a farm dog, some blue heeled mix, took about 5 minutes of talking to him and walking to get by. He was doing play bows but barking like crazy the whole time.

Quetzalcoatlus were fucking huge, there was a model of one at a museum here in town for a exhibit on flying dinos.
Basically a living airplane.

Something about stealing milk from the glass bottles of dead milkmen in the UK. Good story.
