I got a Thule or Yakima (I can't remember) 4 bike hitch rack for like $30 at a yard sale. I needed to replace a few straps, but that was less than $20.

now that it seems like spring might actually be on it's way the garage sales will start popping up, I usually always pull over when I see one, have found a lot of good records that way.

Also if you have quick releases on your wheels, you can always break it down and throw it in the trunk with seats down or in the back seat. Just put something down to keep the chain grease off the upholstery.

Snowing here. Cubs and White Sox both play at 1:05 today. Something tells me the games will be postponed.

I've got a quick release, but it has nothing to do with bicycling.

I think I was getting ahead of myself with that spring talk, just checked the weather and we're supposed to get snow tomorrow, not supposed to stick much though so I can't say I really mind.

I am supposed to go to the Subaru dealership tomorrow and get the ball rolling on the new car. I hate car buying. Like, why can't they just tell me the price on a new green Outback and I will go talk to my credit union? Let's not make this a confusing 3 hour ordeal.

This shit pisses me off. Yesterday my cousin who couldn't figure out how to install a car seat, was posting about how they couldn't find a way to secure their cabinets to keep the toddler from drinking detergent. Said they they had spent 75 bucks on safety stuff and kid got through it or it wouldnt work on their cabinets. Today she posts that she got a technics 1200 for 15 dollars. How the fuck can you find a 500 dollar turntable for 15 bucks but can't figure out how to put chemicals in the upper cabinets?

So thankful my daughter never was a scavenger baby/toddler that liked to test out chemicals and get into shit all the time. I truly feel for parents that have to look out for that.

I thought it was easier to just gate off the whole kitchen rather than babyproof it.

I think she just lucked out on that one. She's an incredible artist and a great person but seems to fail at a lot of mundane tasks of adult life. Her fb posts are all full of hilarious frustrations.

I understand that. I suck at fixing stuff. I installed our dryer vent thing and couldn't figure out how to attach the outside vent to our brick house. Do I screw it into the brick? Who knows. I attached it with duct tape and adhesive spray. LOL It works. For now.

Lol. Yeah you probably have to drill into the bricks and use tapcon screws or put anchors in.

Lol. Yeah you probably have to drill into the bricks and use tapcon screws or put anchors in. I am going to go to Home Depot and ask for tampon screws.
