I've been up since 5:30 and I've had too much coffee. This spice cake/bread is awesome.
Also, when I get on here in the morning and see a bunch of notifications I'm always like, oh no, what drunk thing did I say last night?

We’re considering a LegoLand excursion with the boy. SeaWorld tix kinda cheap tho cuz of the Blackfish thing. I’m good with a few beach days and some tacos.

getting annoyed, we have a report going out today, I sent it to my co-workers and boss for review, 3 weeks ago, asked every couple days how it was looking, now today they're scrambling to edit it and coming at me from every which way with suggestions which are sometimes contradicting each other... and of course i'm gonna be the one staying late now, making the final edits and submitting it...

People are pulled in too many different directions at once. It's hard to focus on something until it's an emergency. I see it a lot.

Its been an unusable shower upstairs at my house for 4 years. Finally I am able to get it finished and my carpenter buddy started on it today.
We even found a cabinet already assembled that fits the space and it came from Restore---Habitat For Humanity at a cost of 30 bucks!!
He should be done by Saturday if not before and then after that we start on a deck out front upstairs to salvage some of the view I lost to the new building next door.
My sister paid me the cash she owed me from my mothers hospice care so its made this possible.
Some good news finally .. yay
