Todd Nance is back. Nance took a leave of absence from the band due to undisclosed personal reasons in the fall of 2014. The soundcheck included a run of “Surprise Valley” into “Low Spark” into “You Should Be Glad,” the first appearance of the tune since Nance’s last show on September 14, 2014.

Widespread Panic have announced that both Tedeschi Trucks Band and Jason Isbell will serve as openers for separate shows on their upcoming spring tour.
TTB will open up for Panic when they play the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, AL, on April 23, and Isbell will open for them on April 30 when the band performs at Raleigh, NC’s Walnut Creek Amphitheatre.

We got our hard tix today (well, the wife did), so excitement was revamped! I need to fill out my time off request, still not sure the dates I want to be gone though
