I was watching an Ancient Aliens the other day and they were talking about Moldivite.
In their typical way, they talked about a green jewel in Lucifer’s crown that was thrown to earth, a meteorite that created Moldivite.

Moldavite is cool.
Especially if you have a piece big enough to cover up the sun when you hold up to your eye.
Gazing thru it does...things.
That was one of the first stones I bought.
Got it in ole' Nederland in 2010.
Cost 40 back then, would go for 200+ now.
That one didn't stay with me long.
One of the people my roomate let in swooped it at some point later that year.

I have a couple of 'enhydro' quartz that have oil as the medium the bubble moves through. I guess those quartz only come out of a stretch of mountains in afganistan, and to have an enhydro bubble is very rare. Pretty neat. 2012 I definitely went through a faze.

I went to the local annual rock and gem show yesterday. I hadn't been in a long time. I got myself one small piece of polished labradorite. I got a really cool ammolite sterling silver wrapped pendant for the lady.

The ammolite is very similar to this one. The green flashes so brilliantly. The wrap is way nicer than this one.
