This is not the thread to talk about DPB's time pieces (although, if you want to, go for it).
Who here wears a watch? What kind of watch? Can you tell time on an analog watch or do you need digital?
My cell phone was my only watch for years, but I bought a Casio from Amazon last week. I really like it...it's mostly for hunting...much easier to tell what time it is by looking at my wrist than fishing my phone out of my pocket when I'm trying to minimize movement.

I have a fitbit surge, I have it set to look like an analog watch. I like that it vibrates when I get a text or call because a lot of times I need to silence my phone and then I forget to turn the ringer back on.

I have one that i wear every weekday, I find when i'm in meetings, it seems less rude to check the time casually on my watch rather than pulling out my phone. It's a real simple timex weekender with a basic leather strap, pretty much this exact one,

Had a Movado Museum watch that I wore through my late 20's. Would pick up a $3 piece of digital shit for travel so I had an alarm on early mornings when I needed to catch a bus or plane, but I never wore it. Never really needed to know the exact time, figured if I did someone else would have a watch or there'd be a clock on a wall. Been thinking lately about wearing one again, if only for a goof.
The sun makes an excellent, if not precise, timepiece.

Dammit, talking about my watch, I noticed that it wasn’t reading pulse, then saw that it still said it was charging but it’s not plugged in.
Rebooted and seams to be ok but I hope this isn’t a sign of impending death.

Back in college I was dating this girl from a rich family. Her dad, a prankster, really liked me. Gave me a Rolex for Christmas. I'm all stunned, like, damn, we've only been going out for six months, and this is a probably a $10k Rolex. Her dad had a slight grin and look on his face, I take a closer look at the watch, notice the second-hand has a quartz, not sweeping movement, look up and dude is now laughing. Told me I might get a real one if things got serious with his daughter and whipped out a second, real gift. Think it was a nice shirt.

We half-convinced the boy that it was real and that we found it on a corpse.

“We were in a hurry and had to cut the hand off to get the watch, you wouldn’t think a corpse would bleed that much but....... lesson learned. Enjoy.”
