Yeah, I just about made my reservations for camping and then for hiking at a private land trust along with a free bluegrass fest in Chattanooga over the weekend and canceled my plans after checking the storm surge path. Its basically rain all night Friday through Saturday. I camped in Mountain SC during a storm surge because I was being stubborn and that is RELENTLESS rain, not doing that again, lol. Maybe Ian will cut wide right as the week goes on but I highly doubt it. Vibes for those dealing with the more direct hit, these storms suck.

uggh....treehugger? We’ve been watching the past few days but we’ll be good. Maybe some rain but not much else. Maybe nothing at all. Tampa and surrounding areas are fuuuucked though. I hope people leave when they have the chance. I wouldn’t wish a major hurricane on anyone. |

I'd only wish a major hurricane on one person....ChumpTrump...maybe it'll hit his palace and we'll all get lucky with him washed out to sea..pfft..we wont be so lucky.

It’s amazing to me how many people I know that aren’t evacuating. I think a lot of people down there have become complacent.
One good thing- it’s hitting during the day. Night hurricanes are the worst.
