Been on a kick researching and ordering coffee from different roasters around the country. A lot of breweries getting into the coffee business lately too which is kinda cool. If you have any recommendations for good beans, drop em! We are roastin here at HOMES PM me your info ill send ya some beans That's awesome! I kinda got into home roasting for a bit a few years back - just experimented doing it with a popcorn air popper a bit. Ordered green beans from Sweet Maria's. It was fun, interesting and educational but I always wanted to get better equipment and try more batches |

I haven't had any coffee in quite some time, but a nitro cold brew sounds damn good right now. Black, light ice. Don't fuck it up by putting anything in it.

Once you pull yourself away from Starbucks and taste really nice coffee, you will realize how much they over roast the beans. It’s insane. Now I’ll get their vanilla soy latte when out if I need something buts its incredible how much they over roast. One love. Coffee is damn enjoyable

Any place I ever lived I always found the local coffee joint that served the superior cup. For me Starbucks was that consistent and safe go to on road trips. You knew it was probably going to be better than the gas stations, there might have been better options in unfamiliar places, but you'd be taking your chances. Plus you'd eventually find one right off whatever highway you were traveling. When driving through the Pac NW I'd take my chances on some local place and was never disapointed, but coffee's kind of a religion up there, so.... I got two Starbucks within a ten minute walk, but there's also a Juan Valdez in the same spot so that's my go to. Juan knows what he's doing. Also a local brand that's been in business since the 50's I'll hit up when I'm downtown. Just as good as Juan but half the price. I'll bring their beans home. You can get them roasted that day (I kind of like 'em better when they're a few days old) either whole or they'll grind them to order. Good schtuff. ::second photo's more for the hair(piece?)::   |

Our roastery is gaining steam and should be opening here soon
Its nice having access too a variety of free beans
So im going to have our roaster pre grind me a weekly stash and get a set up for the house
