I bet in 5 years it will be legal to go buy buds and extracts made with approved of strains grown by approved of people. All of it will be limited as to cannabinoids and terpenes content. Can anyone say boring buzz and add bullshit flavors. Coorperation will systematically seek out people producing unique and heirloom strains and either have them arrested or ran out of business.
I hope I am wrong.

You guys keep confusing legalization with regulation.

Regulation can lead to legalization.
It's also necessary to regulate at first in this situation.

Where you from let them regulate the shit out of it til you all are puffing the naty ice of weed. Where I am from I want them to treat it like any other legal plant and get the fuck out of my business.

I've always been of the opinion that widespread decriminalization would be better than full on legalization. I don't need to be able to get it at a store from some huge agribusiness corporation. I'd rather give money to my friends.

I feel like you are that whole farm to table vs. Quantity over quality.
Let it be legal. To be sold in a store your product has to be regulated.
Paying tax on the revenue is the real issue. Do produce stands pay tax? Probably successful ones. People making money should pay tax. How else is shit gonna happen, magic? That's what it's always come down to.

I'm coming more from the area that businesses shouldn't be on the hook if a kid somehow ends up getting too high or a little kid gets it in an accident. New York has all kinds of laws and lawyers just waiting to test them on some stupid shit.

New York has all kinds of laws and lawyers just waiting to test them on some stupid shit. Kids can already get weed. You cannot blame that on anyone but the person who let them get it. Maybe keep it hidden. Just like pothead parents have done all along? Weed is safe. Cops are dangerous. They have actually killed people. So I dont feel safe with police stations. I think we should ban cops and grow weed in there old offices.

It's a scam.
If anybody followed what happened in Colorado, oregon, California, washington, etc. Than you already know where this is going. It's not rocket science especially for those who've already worked in it.
Tba I know ppl who went west when places like Connecticut went medical and before mass because places like mass were and are have a process that is a literal scam to start. There is not even an argument
First the state makhes decisions on how many licenses for shops and grows they will allow driven by corporate interests just as in any other matter of government, and yes you bet your ads it's who you know and which whores mouth is on what dick.
The first scam is them requiring non refundable (Non refundable!!) 100 thousand dollar application fees just to see if you will have the honor of serving the state.
Then they have secondary requirements such as needing 1 million, yes, 1 million dollars in the bank because after all, your going to have to survive hundreds of thousands of dollars in licenses, permits, and fines as well as periodic systematic raids that occur based on yet more interests.
Mom and pop shops already are and have been disappearing from states that already have been running the scam for years. News flash to ppl like TBA, it's gotten worse not better. But when you look at every other aspect of society and industry it should not come as a surprise.
It's all about money, power, control. Our government is not a fluffy animal that likes hugs. It's a vampire bat that drains you while you sleep and like a big cat will just kill you because it's fun.

I hope I am wrong. Come west with me and cash out. It's about self preservation, fuck ppls access to quality herbs they are they same stupid fucks who go to McDonald's and play fantasy football. They don't care about you. Your buddy who makes diamonds from fresh frozen knows what's up let's follow that blue print. Get MONEY fuck bitches or whatever floats ones boat once they control their monetary flow instead of your shitty fraudulent bank controlling the flow. Maybe die like Pablo Escobar and have somebody write a book.
