my bill was over $300 this month so i finally called and canceled everything but the innernetz
i havent cut the cord since before all these sticks and services, last time i did i had to use all the sketchy sites that gave your computer AIDS
so
whats the deal now
jailbroken fire stick?
anything else worth while?

my sis has youtube tv. seems to work fine. has local stuff, sports stuff, and can pick packages from what she was explaining.
same thing with sling from what i've heard.

Is your internet awesome? I would worry about exclusively streaming unless I had a firemost connection. I'm lucky to have fiber optic at home.

I quit tv aside from Netflix. No sketchy downloads or streams either. I even have some cable they made me get cause it was cheaper than internet alone and my box and flat screen just sit half in a box on my dresser unplugged, blech...

fire stick for sure.
pluto TV is above board app. its channel based and has a few commercials. its free so why not load it
lots of other apps that are more questionable. i wont go into here but they work nice, easy to load and no issues fucking up you computer. i wouldn't bother with Kodi, while thats open source above board, the shit you have to download to stream can be a little convoluted and not so much above board.
we currently have hulu, prime, netflix with 2 disks at home plus streaming.. pay maybe 35 a month, well if i decide to keep prime. I got 2 month free trial of Prime, i may keep it. shipping savings will cover enough costs for us i think.

Not only will you have access to the entire on demand library as well as most channels streaming, but every channel has a app which you can get on the firestick. ESPN HBO ScienceChannel FS1 are some that I use mostly to watch live sports |
