amazon just bought the old Kmart building and made it a distribution hub The old Kmart by me is being proposed as a site for Town Hall or a municipal building. I'm all for that, letting them become eyesores is the worst possible option. |

There is a burgeoning movement to turn those old, vacant big box and malls into apartment complexes. Not sure if there has been a succesful transformation yet but it's an interesting idea.

There is a burgeoning movement to turn those old, vacant big box and malls into apartment complexes. Not sure if there has been a succesful transformation yet but it's an interesting idea. -They're turning a mall near my office into a mixed use space with apartments, doctor's offices, stores and other stuff. It's supposed to be somewhere you never need to leave. Sounds awful, lol. |
