people posting pictures of their kids with easter bunnys is creepy as fuck. Obviously my family never celebrated and easter so I never understood the easter bunny thing. My wife does it up for the children with an egg hunt and when she's in town we go to brunch, but that's about it.

We hid 20 eggs and lil bear had fun hunting. I got the eggs at work from the sunshine committee for my employees, but one dude is out because of death in the family and the other dude called in sick on Saturday which was a smart move because we had zero customers. Super easy on both accounts. Then my neighbor got back from Norway and brought me some of the dankest melkesjokolade.

We went to the restaurant. Each Easter the owner does an osso buco, just once a year. It's a lamb shank braised in a tomato sauce with carrots and mushrooms served over orzo with asparagus. It's absolutely delicious. I scoff at orzo, but this sauce is so incredible. It's like spaghetti-os for adults.

We didn't do anything Sunday. Friday my m.i.l. prepared a traditional fish soup, but that's about it. At some point on the t.v. someone had on one of those more bloody than usual crucifixation movies, but I'm not into body horror or snuff films so I took a pass. I'm a go to the store tomorrow and see if they have post-holiday discounts on chocolate eggs/bunnies. Most everything was closed today because whenever there's a three day holiday that starts on Friday the govt. makes the following Monday a holiday as well to give everyone an extra day and boost tourism. I hear this holiday they went and added Tuesday as an additional day off.

Skipped it but I decided to mess around in the kitchen
Scalloped potatoes- never made em before. Pretty classic.
Hazelnut crusted fish woth lemon. Pretty decent but was supposed to be trout I had to settle for fresh cod.
Banana cream pudding. With the layers of wafers and banana slices and a thick pudding. This was pretty bomb but when you make it you know how UN healthy it is.
And the classic phone call to parents. They love that. Pretty normal Sunday for me.
