They score 149 on the freedom scale out of 189 countries sampled which isn't great of course but they;re at least on the list, the US only ranks 20th.

Ummmm... their support of ISIS mirrors everyone's support of ISIS as an attempt to overthrow Assad
It also doubles as support in weakening the PKK, the kurds..
The Kurds are the biggest threat to turkeys central gov't.. Focusing strictly on ISIS, strengthens the Kurds and weakens Turkey..
The US, needs the Kurds...
So again, Turkey is the wildcard here..
This was a violation of airspace thing.. Im sure the pilots will be released back to the Russians and things will play out like they have the last 25 yrs..

Turkey is benefiting from ISIS existence the way all the powers are...
Also true, that when the time comes they'll join in and squash em like a bug...
I also don't get why Poo is so anti Turkey right now.. They just took down the Russians..

They don't practice Sharia Law like a lot of other Mid East nations.
Ataturk outlawed it I believe.
