From Russia With Love is the Bond movie that I think is the best.
Hot take, doubt anyone will agree, but On Her Majesty's Secret Service is in my top three if not my #1 favorite. I even like Lazenby's take on the role. I'll take Lazenby and OHMSS over Moore or Brosnan and any of their Bond movies any day.

OHMSS is a fantastic Bond movie.
Moore is my least favorite Bond, he looked way too old and out of shape doing the last two or three movies.

Doctor Sleep ☆☆
This movie was trippy and interesting but ultimately leaves you confused and unsatisfied. Little Danny from the shining is all grown up

We watched Iron Man 3 last night as part of our quest to watch all the Marvel films in chronological order. Thor The Dark World is up next.

Finished up The Sopranos and I really loved the entire series and I liked the ending this time. Ladyrice still thought the ending was bullshit. Don’t Stop Believing

Watched the first two episodes of Devs. It’s pretty interesting. Ron Swanson is a good actor.

Ladyrice has been a good sport about the Police Academy movies 1 and 2 but has put her foot down when I want to continue this critically acclaimed series

OHMSS is a fantastic Bond movie. Moore is my least favorite Bond, he looked way too old and out of shape doing the last two or three movies. The Moore films just don't hold up all that well. He was either too old, or the plots were beyond ridiculous, even for a Bond film - i.e. Moonraker. Live and Let Die was alright, I guess, but maybe because it's the first Bond movie I ever saw in a theater (not that I remember it, just a story from my parents who went to see it at a Drive-In so I probably fell asleep in the backseat after the running around the playground before the movie and eating popcorn), for the whole genre take on Blaxploitation films, and the opening theme song. Haven't seen it in a while. Probably not much better than the rest. I don't remember much if anything about the Brosnan films. Instantly forgettable. Not a knock on Brosnan. He's been fine in other things.

Live And Let Die is pretty okay but it does drag a bit and it has the weird southern cop who feels totally out of place in a Bond movie. A View To A Kill is so bad it's funny.
Brosnan was a pretty okay Bond but his first Bond movie was easily his best and the rest are mediocre or worse. The World Is Not Enough is a real slog of a movie.

Oh yeah, forgot about the southern cop they managed to shoehorn into the next movie for comic relief, even though it took place half a world away. Roger Moore, Grace Jones, a love interest so young the actress' mom was younger than Roger Moore, and a more over the top than usual Christopher Walken was so bad it was kind of funny. It's really a franchise where only the first handful were really any good. After that they coasted on using international locations (pretty novel back during that time, no big deal now) and cheesy gadgets - even as early as some of the latter Connery films. Don't remember much detail wise about the two Timothy Dalton ones, but I do like how they tried to change the character from jokey one liner camp to being a bit more gritty.

I saw that posted somewhere else and didn't check it out. That is some super sketchy shit and that director is 100% a sociopath.
